“It’s a shame,” “Thank God” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are unsure on what to make of the news that Kyle Walker-Peters looks set to miss the North London derby.
An injury to Juan Foyth in pre-season – has meant that the lifelong Spurs fan has started all three Premier League games so far, and he has impressed some Tottenham fans but not others.
Either way, an injury to him means that Tottenham are short at right-back and with Serge Aurier not in favour it looks like it will either be Moussa Sissoko or Eric Dier.
The North London derby is always massive, but after what happened to Tottenham last week this one seems even more important.
Walker-Peters may well have split opinion amongst the Spurs’ fanbase, but they certainly could have done with him fit for this game.

These Spurs fans are gutted that Walker-Peters will miss the game – as they believe he was starting to grow into the right-back role.
Yes finally we will not see Kyle walker peters

While he is off the pitch, someone should tell him that he also has offensive obligations at right back that may include throwing a few crosses into the box and making overlapping runs.

Other Tottenham fans were clearly not impressed by the 22-year-old – so they aren’t bothered he will miss the game.
Dier has played RB before & done well. Sure, he wont get forward as much, but he is a seasoned international & he likely understands the derby more than Aurier or even Sissoko. He can bring some leadership which seems to be lacking right now. He is more valuable than we may think

Sounds like we’ll play 3 at the back, with Sissoko (imo) playing RWB ????

Finally, a few Spurs supporters think that Tottenham have adequate cover.
