Former Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic has rejoined Serbian-outfit Partizan Belgrade on a free transfer after being released by Fulham after just six months.
The Serbian wide man, who only started on 13 occasions for the Reds, endured a difficult time on Merseyside after the departure of Brendan Rodgers in the early stages of the 2015/16 season, and endured a loan spell at Hull City.
Markovic scored twice for the Tigers in 12 appearances up in Humberside whereas the 30-year-old only played 45 minutes for Fulham as a half time substitute during a 2-0 defeat to Southampton last season.
Lazar Markovic has got himself a new club. Back where it all started for him at Partizan Belgrade. Hopefully the former #LFC winger can get his career back on track.

Markovic’s move was announced late on Tuesday night after just six months at Craven Cottage, and returns to his homeland and the club that he graduated from their academy, Partizan Belgrade.
Here are some of the best Liverpool reactions to the transfer news:
What could have been, if he’d scored that volley against Sunderland.

To be fair he was a cracking player that we messed about with, zero confidence after his time with us, easy to blame the player but I feel it was more Liverpool in this case
