It’s been 19 years since Chris Sutton signed for Celtic from Chelsea and the former striker has paid tribute to his former club and the fans are loving seeing that the legend still has a place in his heart for their club.
Sutton managed 86 goals during his six years at Parkhead and the fans still hold their former striker close to their hearts. The 46-year-old is a real fan-favourite and still interacts with his former club’s fans regularly on his Twitter, only cementing his place as a Celtic fan-favourite.
Sutton now works as a pundit most notably for BT Sport where he can regularly be found talking up the Scottish game, particularly his former club Celtic.
Sutton is due to get on stage at the Celtic Festival at the end of the month and join the likes of the Celtic players, Neil Lennon and Chief Executive Peter Lawwell at the event for supporters of the celebrating the treble treble achievement and legends of the past.
