“He’s got a bright future” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans were delighted with one piece of play from Harry Winks – that saved a certain goal.
With Spurs losing 1-0 to Aston Villa they had a corner that ended up with Villa breaking – for a moment it was two on one – with Winks the last man back for Tottenham.
Jack Grealish tried to free Trezeguet but vitally for Spurs Winks intercepted the ball – before casually side-stepping past Anwar El Ghazi.
It was in the context of the game a crucial moment – and a lot of Spurs fans love how composed Winks was in that scenario.
Though, he was later substituted off for Christian Eriksen – the 23-year-old is rated very highly by Mauricio Pochettino and should be set for an important role in Tottenham’s midfield.
Moments like this have only increased his popularity with many Spurs fans.

For many fans, it was a goal-saving tackle from Winks – and if he had not made it, Villa would have doubled their lead.
