Many Liverpool fans have responded glowingly to a heartwarming story which unfolded after Liverpool’s 3-0 away win against Burnley in their last Premier League game before the international break.
The incident took place after the game and as both sets of players were leaving to head onto the coaches and back to their respected training grounds.
It’s typical on a matchday that supporters will be waiting outside of the player entrances of any respected football stadium to have pictures taken and autographs with their favourite stars as they leave the ground. But a young Burnley fan would not have expected his day to turn out the way that it did.
