“Still give me goosebumps,” “Chills” – These West Ham fans are reminiscing over the last goal at Upton Park, scored by the birthday boy, Winston Reid.
Today is Winston Reid’s birthday, and his club decided the best way to celebrate with him was to post a video of the final goal at Upton Park, which he of course scored.
The New Zealand international scoring a towering header that sent the Hammers fans wild, the game itself was a belter as West Ham came from 2-1 down to win 3-2; this was the perfect send-off for a legendary ground.
Reid himself has not played much since that final game; he has had a torrid run of injuries and in total has missed 67 games, but he will be hoping that he returns to help his side soon.
In the meantime, a lot of West Ham fans have commented on the post by the club remembering that brilliant moment for Reid.
See the best of their reactions below.

Remember this game as if it was yesterday. Unbelievable atmosphere. Sad to see the London stadium no so intimidating.
