West Ham United fans aren’t blaming Jordan Hugill for being picky about choosing his next club.
Although this is a huge inconvenience for West Ham, fans aren’t at all annoyed with the striker for making this decision.
Hugill is reportedly on around £40,000 a week at the London Stadium, and fans don’t blame him for not wanting to take a wage cut.
It’s unlikely that the 27-year-old will get close to that weekly wage anywhere else as it seems that only Championship clubs are interested in his services and his stock has fallen since joining the Hammers in January 2018.
Indeed, Hugill isn’t as highly rated as he once was as he has appeared just three times for the London club since joining 18 months ago.
Here’s what West Ham fans have been saying on Twitter…
No problem with that.
If I was him I’d stay another year and collect my 30grand + per week and then go next summer.

Don’t blame him.

Don’t blame him being picky if hes on 35k a week , Moyes should never have brought him in in the first place , but he did & hes never got a chance so hes been fucked about for more than a season so think hes within his right to wait for the right move financially & otherwise ⚒

He’s making 40k/week why would he consider making a 50% pay cut.

Why would he want to leave when he’s on good wages ?!? He can go and play for pony teams when his contract runs out
