Ahead of their Premier League clash with West Ham United on Monday night, Aston Villa have been catching up with a former player who could be lining up against them.
Robert Snodgrass, 32, arrived on loan at Villa Park in the 2017/18 campaign from the Hammers and proceeded to play a crucial role in the club’s push for the playoffs, despite falling short to Fulham in the final at Wembley.
During his time in B6, Snodgrass quickly became a fan’s favourite, and ahead of a reunion between the player and Villa on Monday, an interview with the Scotsman has got some fans showing their love for their former loanee prior to the game against West Ham.
Check out some of the best reactions to Villa’s Snodgrass interview below.
“To come back and have the chance to see the fans again will be great. I really did love my time here. I’m still very happy to be able to say I played for Aston Villa.”

Never wanted him to go. Genuinely wanted to slam my head against a wall when we missed out on him and got Bolasie instead

What a guy. Miss him a lot. We’ve been very lucky with recent loans. But I miss Snodds the most.
