“He was unbelievable that season” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are reminiscing over Victor Wanyama – after the club released a video of his home debut.
The Kenyan scored the crucial goal in a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace – to get his Tottenham career off to the perfect start.
Signed for £11m from Southampton Wanyama established himself alongside Mousa Dembele in the Spurs’ engine room and he turned in a fantastic debut season for Tottenham.
In recent years, though, Wanyama’s legs have gone, due to a number of injures and he now finds himself behind Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks in the Spurs’ pecking order.
However, a lot of Tottenham fans will never forget his performances from when he first joined the club.

His Spurs career reminds a bit of Wilson Palacios. Awesome and automatic starter 1st season then just disappeared due to various reasons.

These Spurs fans want to remember how good Wanyama was when he first joined the club and though he has declined they still appreciate him.
And one this day he gets sold to Club Brugge

Other Tottenham fans think that Wanyama was superb, but injuries have got the better of him and it is time to move on.
