As pre-season begins for clubs up and down the country, Premier League clubs often jet off to foreign countries to compete in friendly tournaments against a variety of teams and Crystal Palace are no different. This summer the Eagles have travelled to Switzerland to play in the Uhrencup against FC Luzern and BSC Young Boys.
The club announced that fans of the south London club who are unable to travel to Switzerland to support the team can stream the games at home, but for a price. The streams are only available to certain members on the club’s website, and this has angered many Palace fans who have already bought season tickets worth between £500 and £750, as they would have to pay a further fee of £45 to watch the games.
You can see all of the reaction to the announcement below:
???????? Not heading to Switzerland for the Uhrencup?
???? We will be streaming both games and other selected pre-season fixtures for Gold and International members!

What about season ticket holders ay?! Or have you forgot what loyalty is??

No, I can only afford a season ticket. I hope the privileged few enjoy the streams.

Not season ticket holders? Nah

What’s happening to our club? This isn’t us. Awful idea, after last year’s home form us season ticket holders deserve more

Not for season ticket holders though?..
Cheers lads

Because season ticket holders don’t pay enough money

Season ticket holder for more years than I care to remember, pre purchased programmes, food and drink in the AW, 8-10 away games per season. Shame on you.

Bang out of order, asking season ticket holders to also purchase a separate membership package to get these streams. Knocking a tenner off the price is hardly going to make up for this.
