Rangers still don’t know when they’ll face St. Joseph’s of Gibraltar as UEFA continue to ponder dates and the fans are seething.
Steven Gerrard’s men are due to kick-off their Europa League campaign next week but thanks to complications on UEFA’s end the club don’t know when they’ll be playing St. Joseph’s. There has been a delay as UEFA were waiting to see how Europa FC got on in their preliminary qualification tie and the Gibraltans got past Saint Julia of Andorra meaning European football’s governing body have a fixture headache having to arrange the St. Joseph’s and Europa’s games.
Just to keep supporters up to date: The club will have to wait until UEFA confirm our fixture before we announce it and unfortunately I do not expect the club to hear confirmation until tomorrow.

Rangers fans will now face a nervous wait as they wait to see when the games are being played, with the hope that UEFA will announce their decision today. Gerrard’s men are in the same boat and will hope the games are scheduled for the Thursdays of the two game weeks to give them the longest possible amount of time to prepare for the qualifiers. Gerrard’s men should expect to get through a team from lowly Gibraltar but Scottish sides have had trouble over there before, with Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic suffering a 1-0 defeat to Lincoln Red Imps on the island yet ultimately they went through.
Rangers fans will be hoping UEFA get their finger out at and announce the dates so they can do whatever possible to get to the two games.
Utter shambles by @UEFA yet again. Nothing to do with us at all – but I hope the club make a formal complaint.

@EuropaLeague @UEFA any chance of thinking about the fans who love to follow their team all over the world. You want the best product on display – give the fans a chance to play our part.
