Celebrating the 19 year anniversary of Leeds United signing Australian striker Mark Viduka, debate has been raging between many Leeds fans over who is the best striker to have ever played for the Whites.
Signing from Celtic for £6m in 2000, Viduka scored 59 goals in 130 games during his four years at Elland Road. To this day, Viduka holds the record for the most recent Leeds player to score a hat-trick in the Premier League.
The Australian forward’s time at Leeds will be best remembered for his quadruple against Liverpool in a seven-goal thriller in his first season at the club.
A lot of Leeds fans of different generations pitched in their picks for the best striker to ever play for Leeds with a multitude of suggestions being made, including Alan Clarke and Micky Jones of the 70’s, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink and Tony Yeboah. Some fans of the modern generation suggested players such as Viduka or Argentinian front man Luciano Becchio are in with a shout.
Here is the best of the reaction.

Yeboah for me but Viduka was class as well. Never seen a more clinical finisher than Yeboah in a Leeds shirt in my lifetime. Absolutely top drawer…….just too short a time.
