“Hats off” – A lot of Newcastle fans are buzzing with Michael Chopra’s honest assessment of the Toon on talkSPORT.
The 35-year-old broke the mould of recent weeks when talking about Newcastle; he didn’t defend Mike Ashley, as Kevin Nolan did, and he didn’t praise Steve Bruce – like Shola Ameobi and John Carver did.
Chopra said it how it is, and that has delighted a lot of Newcastle fans because he called Ashley a disease and he believes that he doesn’t even want to sell the club.
The reason he said this is because he claimed to have had a buyer last year, but negotiations were a struggle to even start never mind conclude.
His assessment of Steve Bruce has also gone down well with many Newcastle fans as he rates him as an average Championship manager and, therefore, not good enough to be in charge of Newcastle.
A lot of Newcastle fans have praised this interview from Chopra.

Absolutely brilliant stuff from Chopra ???????? well done mate! Spoken on behalf of all #NUFC fans. Real truths here; none of this pandering to Ashley like some of the ex pro’s who have represented the club.
