“I’m done” – These Newcastle fans have reacted to the news that nearly 12,000 season tickets remain unsold ahead of the new season.
It appears that a lot of Newcastle fans are attempting to hit Mike Ashley’s wallet by cancelling or not renewing their season tickets – in an attempt to finally force him from the club.
The imminent arrival of Steve Bruce has not helped the anger on Tyneside – as many fans believe he cannot, even remotely, replace Rafael Benitez.
As well as the mass of season ticket cancellations there are also a lot of organised protest groups that have called for a total boycott of St James’s Park until Ashley leaves.
It seems the tension in Newcastle is only going to increase as with less than a month till the Premier League season starts the Magpies have still not made a signing and a lot of fans are now making their feelings known.
See the best of the reaction below.

Cue token signings or new 10 year deals to address the immediate issue but not the underlying lack of ambition at #nufc
