“How many goals did he cost us?” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans can’t believe Kieran Trippier’s latest comments.
In an interview with the Sun Trippier has admitted he was disappointed that the club wanted to sell him and that he was not sure if he was in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
The England international was not at his best last year, and he got a lot of flak from some Spurs fans for costing them goals in important games.
Atletico Madrid, therefore, made a move and Trippier is now in Madrid playing under one of the best defensive coaches in the world.
However, this has not stopped the former Burnley man having one last dig at Tottenham and many Spurs fans are unhappy with Trippier’s comments.
