Liverpool continued their 100% record in the Premier League against Burnley on Saturday afternoon after a convincing 3-0 victory cemented their place at the top of the Premier League, however there was one particular incident during the game which has caused a massive debate.
Mo Salah had the opportunity during the second half to play the ball into Sadio Mane in space for a clear goal scoring opportunity but opted to shoot and waste the chance instead.
While being substituted, Mane was clearly disgruntled about being brought off and made his feelings very clear, having to be calmed down by the likes of James Milner and Roberto Firmino on the bench.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp told the media post match that the Senegalese international was clearly upset and that he cannot hide his emotions. Despite that, the German said that he appreciates the fact that a line has been drawn through it all after a talk in the dressing room after the game.
Despite the fact the situation appears to under control in the Liverpool camp, the debate hasn’t stopped from going back and fourth across social media.
One supporter said that he is sick of his selfishness despite the fact that he set up Roberto Firmino moments earlier to get Liverpool’s third of the game.
However, another fan praised the man management skills of Jurgen Klopp to the extent that there will be no issue as long as the manager is there.
So here are some of the best reactions to the incident on Saturday:
Just speak to Salah. Sick of his selfishness

That is a lie Salah is selfish he takes on all those 3players because he refuses to lay of an easy pass to his teammates. Out of the 3 front 3 players Salah is the most selfish

It’s been of a regular act with Salah.
Good he reacts so all things can be sorted. #YNWA ????— Kelvin Gbevoadi .M (@MGbevoadi) August 31, 2019
Most players have their selfish moments. Salah’s are just starting to pile up a little, tbh.

@MoSalah has every right in my opinion to go for goal, just look at the stats as to who has the most assists in the front three, get over it Sadio

So long as Liverpool keep winning then both Sadio and Mo will keep loving life and the adoration of the fans.
