TalkSPORT host and former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has had his say on the Paul Pogba penalty incident which occurred on Monday night as Manchester United travelled to Molineux to face Wolves.

The game was level with 10 minutes to go when the Frenchman was fouled inside the area by Connor Coady. The World Cup winner took the resulting spot-kick, but it was saved by Rui Patricio.

This sparked huge debate throughout the football world as the week prior Marcus Rashford scored a penalty against Chelsea, but this week Pogba was the man handed the responsibility.

Parlour expressed his belief that there should be one designated penalty taker who steps up whenever he is on the pitch.

Of course, the former Gunner was lucky enough to share the pitch with two fantastic penalty takers in Thierry Henry and Ian Wright during his time at the London club.

Whether or not Parlour is right on this occasion is up for debate, but the Manchester United manager has been adamant that their process of choosing who takes penalties won’t change just because of one miss.
