“An award for failure” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans do not believe that Mauricio Pochettino will win FIFA’s Best Men’s Coach award.

The Argentine is on the shortlist along with Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp.

Manchester City completed a domestic treble last year while Klopp won the Champions League with Liverpool.

Tottenham, on the other hand, finished fourth in the league – a full 20 odd points behind both City and Liverpool.

While in the Champions League Spurs were involved in two of the most incredible games the competition has ever seen.

First, they beat Manchester City on away goals – after a thrilling 4-3 defeat, that saw Raheem Sterling have a last-minute winner ruled out.

Then in the semi-final, Tottenham came from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Ajax and they once again prevailed on away goals – Lucas Moura the hero with a second-half hat-trick.

It is this superb Champions League campaign that has led to Pochettino’s nomination, but many Spurs fans do not believe he will win it.

See the best of the reaction below.

These Tottenham supporters are convinced Pochettino will not win the award and, in fact, they think he is pretty average.

Other Spurs fans are fully behind their manager, and they hope he wins the competition.
