“That’s superb news” – A lot of Gers fans are thrilled to hear that Jordan Jones will only be injured for a month.
The winger injured himself in a tackle with Moritz Bauer – which also saw him sent off, so he will miss the next three games anyway.
This means that Jones should be fit for the next game that he is allowed to play – which is good news for Steven Gerrard.
The former Kilmarnock man has made nine appearances and provided two assists – including the cross for Alfredo Morelos’ winner against Legia Warsaw in the Europa League playoff-round.
Strangely he did not start the Old Firm but came on as a substitute and attacked Bauer in the last minute.
The tackle was so bad that he injured himself, but luckily it is not a serious problem.
See the best of the reaction below.
Jordan Jones only out for around a month.

He’s got a 3 match ban anyway so no real difference

Bit of a relief I had been told it could be his season over. Reckless tackle but not the first in his old firm debut and won’t be the last! Glad not as bad as expected. Impressed with his first few appearances l.

These Gers fans are pleased to hear that Jones’ injury is not too bad.
Jones only plays on the left, can you see him playing much at all with Kent and Ojo starting this season?

Be much longer than that before he’s back in the team, though, I think.

Other Rangers supporters believe that Ryan Kent will play over Jones.
