Although the English transfer window closed a couple of weeks ago, across Europe clubs are still able to purchase players.

This means that a number of English sides still have the opportunity to ship out some of their more unwanted footballers, and that is exactly what Tottenham have done.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has departed the London club in order to move to Besiktas, and he took to Instagram to share a heartfelt goodbye

He wished his former teammates and the staff all the best and thanked the fans.

The Frenchman also acknowledged the fact that his career at Spurs was rather underwhelming. He made just 27 appearances for Tottenham – scoring just once in three years.

Despite this, he seemed very grateful for everything he has learnt during his time in the Premier League, and a number of his former teammates wished him well at his next club.

Josh Onomah, Erik Lamela and Toby Alderweireld all took to the comments section to give him their best wishes.
