For many Leeds United players there was only one man they wanted to talk about after Wednesday’s win against Brentford.
A number of Marcelo Bielsa’s players took to Instagram to praise Eddie Nketiah. Kalvin Phillips and Adam Forshaw made social media posts dedicated to Wednesday’s goalscorer.

Being as humble as he is, Nketiah wouldn’t just accept the tributes as he sent the same sentiment straight back to his compatriots.
The youngster thanked Forshaw for his kind words and noted that the midfielder put in a top performance as well on Wednesday.
Forshaw certainly deserved the praise from the 20-year-old. He was instrumental in United’s midfield on Wednesday. He had the highest pass success rate of any Leeds player.
The win at Elland Road against the Bees puts the Whites back to the top of the league, and with the Yorkshire club leading the pack in the Championship, team spirit appears to be high based off of these online interactions.
