Arsenal cruised to a 5-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, but two goals for one of Unai Emery’s players has got some fans loving the potential impact he could make at the club.
Gabriel Martinelli, 18, joined the club in the summer transfer window from Brazilian side Ituano, and the promising forward scored an impressive brace in the rout of Forest to send the Gunners into the last 16 of the cup.
Martinelli’s game time is likely to be limited given the abundance of quality in Arsenal’s frontline such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe, but some of the club’s fanbase were loving the 18-year-old’s impact at The Emirates.
