“Liverpool PR made him apologise” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are furious at Harvey Elliott – after a video emerged of him mocking Harry Kane during the Champions League final.
Elliott, who is 16, has just signed for Liverpool, after his youth contract at Fulham expired, and life in the Premier League has not started well for the Reds prospect.
There is now already a lot of unwanted attention on the London-born winger – and he will need to grow up quickly if he wants his Premier League career to be more than a fleeting memory.
Elliott has released an apology, although strangely he does not apologise to Kane and claims the video “Was not directed at any individual.”
This has not gone down well with a lot of Tottenham fans who are fuming with Elliot.
See the best of the reaction below.

So sorry that he couldn’t even be bothered to write his own statement. Judging by a few of his posts I doubt he knows 80% of the vocabulary used in it!

He’s at the right club for that kind of stuff. Will fit in nicely.

Can’t believe he says in his apology that the video wasn’t directed at any individual – he named Kane twice ????♀️ the whole thing says more about him as a person than anything else. Sure @HKane isn’t bothered by the opinions of someone who looks like a Blazing Squad reject
