Manchester United fans on Twitter are struggling to believe reports that they have agreed a fee with Leicester City for the transfer of Harry Maguire.
Dean Jones, a journalist from Bleacher Report, stated on Sunday evening that a fee had been agreed between the two clubs, but some fans are having a hard time believing this to be true.
You can’t blame them either. It was reported last week that Maguire was set for a medical at Old Trafford, but just days later Brendan Rodgers himself denied those rumours.
The Red Devils’ pursuit of the centre-back has been one of the most drawn-out sagas of this transfer window, and due to all the twists and turns, United fans are having a tough time believing any reports.
It remains to be seen whether or not these latest developments turn out to be true or not, but supporters are choosing not to believe them at the moment.
Here’s what the Old Trafford faithful have been saying on Twitter…
Slow Sunday click bait.
