Lisbon Lion Jim Craig has returned to Celtic as a Club Ambassador and the supporters are loving seeing a legend return to the club.
Craig was part of the 1967 European Cup-winning side managed by Jock Stein and will join other club legends David Hay, Tom Boyd and Roy Aitken in working as an Ambassador for the treble treble winners. The 1967 European Cup win was just one of 15 major honours he won over his nine years at Parkhead and these supporters couldn’t think of anyone better to be representing their club.

After making over 200 appearances for The Celts the Glaswegian had short spells in South Africa, England and Ireland before retiring to focus on dentistry and has since gone on to work for Celtic TV hosting broadcasts for the club’s in-house media channel. The 76-year-old is ecstatic to be an official part of the club again and has said ‘it is very humbling to be recognised in this way and I am looking forward to representing and serving the club in any way I can.’
These Celtic fans are just happy to see one of the Lisbon Lions recognised by the club soon after the deaths of Billy McNeill and Stevie Chalmers.
A gentleman to his fingertips. Congratulations, James.

A wonderful mind full of incredible Celtic knowledge and an even better human, it feels like an obvious choice but you’ve still chosen well, Celtic.
Congratulations @Cairney2
