In the final pre-season game of the club’s tour of Australia, Pablo Hernandez scored a brilliant solo goal in the last minute to secure a win for Leeds. The 34-year-old cut in from the right side, past two more defenders before slotting superbly into the bottom corner.
Last season the Spaniard was vital in The White’s promotion push, scoring 12 goals and registering 12 assists as Leeds finished third. This led a lot of Leeds fans to praising the attacking midfielder, and hoping he can replicate the same form as last season.
While a lot of Leeds fans were buzzing, there were some Whites fans that could not help but think their troubles in front of goal were going to continue, as Patrick Bamford missed a handful of chances in the game.
Missed chances were a common occurrence for Leeds, with Bamford scoring only nine goals from 68 shots in the Championship last term.
Here is the best of the reaction.

We’re so lucky to have him here. We might be cursed, but I’ve no idea how we’ve managed to go from Warnock and Varney to Bielsa and Pablo
