The rumoured move of Ivory Coast forward Wilfried Zaha to Arsenal has taken many turns over the past few days, with Crystal Palace placing a £100m price tag on the forward, to Arsenal bidding £40m, to family members of the winger pleading with Palace to let his brother leave. It is certainly fast becoming a transfer saga that will not be over any time soon. However with the news of Zaha’s brother pleading for the sale of his sibling, some Palace fans think the transfer just needs to be finalised to save any more hassle. A few Palace fans have been quick to voice their displeasure with Zaha’s sibling following his involvement.
Zaha returned to Palace for a second spell following a move to Manchester United that did not pan out for the skillful winger. Since rejoining the south London club, Zaha has scored 32 goals and registered 20 assists in 163 games. The player himself has previously admitted his desire to play in European competition and more recently that Arsenal are his dream club and the club he supported as a boy.

Judicael Boris Rodrigue Inchaud hopes that Palace lower their price to reach agreement with Arsenal…….whilst his brother doesn’t hand in a transfer request so he can get over £5m in loyalty bonus from Palace & a signing on fee from Arsenal. Sounds fair.

Rinse arsenal for every penny and let him go.
Then find a winger who actually crosses and see the turn around in Benteke’s form.

Zaha is on a 5 year deal. Let him ( more importantly his hangers on brothers) stew.#CPFC

This is so frustrating and typical of Arsenal, we all know Wilf wants European and deserves to play on the European stage (albeit on a Thursday) however Arsenal are doing the same as £1 over the release clause and hoping to force it through. No respect to the club.

But his brother is doing this out of love for his brother it’s not like he gets paid if he moves club’s..yeah thought so money ruins football again #cpfc

Understatement. His brother being the issue

unfortunately Zaha has fallen into the hands of his family, like many talented African players. They are the worst and most divisive career advisers. Just them around would be a red flag and reason for Arsenal or other clubs not to talk.

Presume and hope that palace are planning for life without Wilf – clear he will go whether that is this year or next so need a strategy on style of play and type of replacement. Love Wilf but we have created an over reliance on one player which is not great

Can’t blame him. Id be fed up under Hodgson too. And he’s so desperate to leave he’s now agitating to leave for even Europa league football rather than champions league. Only way for Palace to have kept him would have been to get a new manager in who had some new ideas. Gutting!!
