Leeds United fans on Twitter are split in their views after Phil Hay reported that Kemar Roofe has passed his Anderlecht medical.
News broke last week that the Belgian side were lining up a move for the striker, and it seems like they are going to land their man.
The attacker was entering the last year of his contract, and with no deal on the horizon, the Yorkshire club have seemingly decided to cash in on Roofe.
This will leave the Whites with just one senior striker in the squad, but with recent links to Eddie Nketiah that may not be a problem for long.
The sale of their star striker has inevitably divided opinions amongst the fanbase.
In one camp there are a number of Leeds fans who believe this sale isn’t bad business.
The Yorkshire club will apparently receive £7m for the attacker, and many fans believe this isn’t a bad move due to the amount of time left on his contract and the number of injuries he picks up.
£7M for biscuit knees who’s regularly picking up injuries and in last year of his contract. Thank you very much

Good too injury prone, good luck to him, not convinced he is ok & time will tell

Wonder if he wanted the move or #lufc wanted the money, to be fair £7m is a good price IMO but it needs to be re-invested in this transfer window

Understandably, many supporters aren’t over the moon about their top scorer leaving the club this summer.
One fan stated that £7m isn’t enough to get an adequate replacement, while another had a dig at Andrea Radrizzani for his lack of investment.
Well that’s 30 plus million for the skint chancer @andrearadri now the question is will you be reinvesting or will you not be reinvesting because as most are it we need a quality striker and cb still #lufc

What striker can you get in the Championship for £7 million absolutely joke.

I’m not happy with him leaving, I’ll be fuming if we don’t get anyone in..
