Leeds United fans on Twitter are divided in their opinions after Phil Hay reported that Tom Pearce could move to Barnsley before the transfer deadline.
This move had previously been speculated late last month, but with the transfer deadline looming, things seem to be picking up.
A few United fans took this news as an opportunity to take a shot at Andrea Radrizzani.
This has been a summer of sales for the Whites as no fewer than 12 players have left the club on permanent deals.
With recent reports stating that Leeds wouldn’t be able to afford both Ryan Kent and Eddie Nketiah, fans are fed up of their owner not splashing the cash.
Pontus Jansson, Jack Clarke, Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Mallik Wilks, Kemar Roofe, Tom Pearce, Hadi Sacko, De Bock and several more + it’s the centenary year which = more merch sales and yet we can’t afford to bring in Kent along with a loan Striker because of FFP? Give it a rest.

A couple of other supporters were worried about the trend of selling promising youngsters to Barnsley.
Well, if he isn’t going get in to Bielsa’s plan for this year, then best for him to move on. We are becoming a feeder club though, Burnley or Barnsley, they’re replacing Norwich now, aren’t they. ????

However, there were differing views.
One supporter was quite happy to see Pearce headed out the door as he doesn’t rate him that highly.
Good. Never understood why everyone was raving about him when he played. Bang average I thought. Obviously gonna be outstanding for Barnsley now I’ve said that.

A couple of other fans were glad to see some more deadwood shifted as Leeds’ latest financial accounts showed that they were running at a loss.
In last accounts #lufc had something like 55 full-time professional players. This clearout is a good thing!
