Leeds United fans on Twitter have been reacting to the news that Eddie Nketiah will feature in Tuesday night’s game against Salford City.
Phil Hay reported that the new signing will be involved in some capacity against the Ammiers, but it remains to be seen whether he will be starting or not.
United supporters were incredibly excited when the striker joined on the final day of the transfer window, and now they’re set to see him in action for the first time.
The Yorkshire club have a rather tough draw in the first round of the EFL Cup. On paper, they should easily beat a League Two outfit, but this is Salford’s first-ever appearance in the competition – and due to the potential rivalry between the two sides they could be well up for it.
Once again the overwhelming feeling around Nketiah is that of excitement. Many can’t wait to see him in action on his debut.
