Leeds United fans on Twitter have been reacting to Mateusz Bogusz’s late winning goal for the U23s against Millwall.
The Whites’ youth side set out to retain their PDL title, and they got off to the perfect start by winning their first game of the season.
They didn’t make it easy for themselves though. They went 2-0 up before throwing their lead away – conceding twice in ten minutes.
It seemed as if the game was destined for a draw before the Polish teenager stepped up and netted a free-kick deep into added time.
Many fans have been impressed by Bogusz in the past, whether that be his performances for the U23s or in pre-season friendlies.
Once again fans were waxing lyrical about the teenage prodigy. One supporter said that he’s the Polish Ronaldo, while another simply called him a baller.

He looks a good prospect, hope he keeps it going

Understandably, a number of fans called for him to get a first-team debut in the near future.
Bogusz is a highly rated talent, and many are hoping to see him step onto the pitch at Elland Road sooner rather than later.

One supporter had a much more pessimistic view about the late winner. He believes that Leeds should never have needed a late goal to secure the win due to the number of first-team players on the pitch on Tuesday.
Imagine if we’d not won this game considering the players that started the game ????????????♂️
