Leeds United fans on Twitter have been reacting to the news that Mateusz Bogusz has been called up to Poland’s U21 squad for their upcoming European Championship qualifiers against Latvia and Estonia.

The youngster has caught the eye of many United supporters with his performances at youth level, and although many have called for Marcelo Bielsa to give him a chance he’s yet to make his senior debut.

He’s been on the bench plenty of times – including in last season’s playoff semi-final second leg against Derby.

The teenager is rated very highly, so it could just be a matter of time before he makes his first appearance for the club.

His talent has clearly caught the eye of Poland’s U21 manager as he’s been called up to play for his country’s youth side.

Many United fans took to social media to congratulate Bogusz stating that he deserves a call up due to his impressive form for Leeds U23s.

Coincidentally, this news came just two hours after the teenager had scored the winning goal for Leeds U23s in their game against Millwall.

Some supporters speculated that his strike from earlier that day is what earned him the call-up.

Some supporters took this as an opportunity to express that they think the midfielder has an unbelievable amount of potential.
