Leeds United fans have been relishing in Frank Lampard’s misery after he was embarrassingly handed a 4-0 loss on his Premier League managerial debut against Manchester United.
There has been plenty of bad blood between the Chelsea legend and Leeds United over the past 12 months due to a number of incidents his tenure as Derby County manager.
It all started when the spygate scandal was uncovered. Lampard wasn’t coy in criticising Marcelo Bielsa’s techniques as he didn’t agree with spying on the opposition.
The two were embroiled in a war of words, but things died down a bit as we headed into the business end of the season.
That was until Leeds and Derby set up a playoff semi-final clash.
The Whites were victorious in the first leg and fans created a song to mock Lampard to the tune of Oasis’ ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’.
Unfortunately for the Elland Road faithful, they were the ones left with tears in their eyes as Derby came back to win in the second leg.
Leeds fans clearly haven’t forgotten last season, and they were happy to see him get beat on Saturday.
They also hadn’t forgotten what he said after spygate when he said: “We do analysis too.”
Fans were quick to mock this comment claiming that Lampard was once again copying Leeds by losing 4-0 to Man Utd after the Yorkshire club were beaten by that scoreline in pre-season.

Of course, a number of fans once again brought up the chant they created to mock the Chelsea manager, while another fan was just happy to see Lampard failing.

One fan hasn’t lost sight of the rivalry between Leeds and the Red Devils as he stated that he’s happy with the result as it gives Ole Gunnar Solskjaer more time in charge of the Manchester club.
Works for me. Lampard gets a pasting and Ole gets more time. Win win
