Leeds United fans on Twitter have been reacting to the news that their club have signed Eddie Nketiah on a season-long loan from Arsenal.
The Whites have been in need of a striker since Kemar Roofe departed for Anderlecht, and although they left it late, they managed to get their man on deadline day.
The Yorkshire club reportedly had to choose between signing Nketiah or Liverpool winger Ryan Kent, but in the end, they decided to bring in the youngster from Arsenal.
Many supporters were excited about the arrival of the 20-year-old, and you can see why.
He has an incredible goalscoring record for Arsenal at U23 level, scoring 28 goals in 38 games for the youth side.
On top of that, he’s also got a bit of experience at the highest level.
Indeed, he appeared in five Premier League games last season, and he even opened his goalscoring account with a goal against Burnley.
Understandably, United supporters were over the moon with signing such a promising youngster.

Other sections of the fanbase have been showing their excitement in a different way. The Elland Road faithful have set high targets for their new signing as one supporter predicted that he will score 30 goals this season, while another expects him to net at least 20.
Welcome to Leeds United
I’m betting you can hit 30 goals this season, I don’t like losing so, make it happen. M.O T— Eddie brown (@Rochdalebuddha) August 8, 2019

Inevitably, some Leeds fans took this as an opportunity to have a dig at Bristol City.
There has been a mini rivalry developing between the two clubs in recent weeks after Lee Johnson’s comments on spygate before the two met on the opening day of the season.
Nketiah was reportedly due to join the Robins, but he changed his mind and joined Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
@BristolCity 3-1 and we’ve nicked Nketiah from under your nose ???????????????????????? #ALAW #MOT
