“You were so off the pace”, “What a captain” – Some Rangers fans are undecided about James Tavernier’s performance on Sunday against Kilmarnock.
Tavernier was heavily involved in both Rangers’ goals – providing the assist for Connor Goldson’s late winner, and also taking the corner that ended with Scott Arfield stabbing home.
The 27-year-old has performed well in Europa League Qualifying – providing three assists, and he has taken that form into the SPFL.
However, some of the Rangers fans were not impressed with their captain – and they want more from him in the upcoming matches.
Overall, though, it is a mixed reaction to Tavernier’s performance against Kilmarnock.
See the best of the reaction below.

These Rangers fans clearly are annoyed at Tavernier – but it feels harsh considering he was directly involved in both of their goals. He was also superb last season and represented Rangers brilliantly.
Class Tav ,had a great game ????????????????????????

On the other hand, these Gers fans praised their captain for a gutsy performance – despite Steven Gerrard’s side not performing at their best.
