When you watch Jorginho play it seems as if he has an excellent understanding of the game. His positioning and tactical awareness are two vital components of his game, but when it comes to judging his peers he doesn’t seem to have a great eye for talent.

He was asked to name his dream five-a-side team, and his selections were very questionable.

Firstly, he’s taken the bold step of lining up without a goalkeeper. Understandably he’s put himself in the team, but he’s also opted to select two Chelsea teammates Willian and Emerson Palmieri.

Alongside the three Chelsea players is Monaco star Falcao, and former Manchester City forward Robinho.

We’ll let the selections of Emerson and Willian slide as they’re seemingly close friends at Stamford Bridge.

However, we have to scrutinise the choices of Falcao and Robinho.

The Colombian is a fine striker, but he’s nowhere near the best choice for that position.

Robinho is another baffling choice. He promised so much at Real Madrid, but he never fully recognised his potential.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the two obvious players he’s left out, and it’s tough to understand that Italy international’s thought process when picking this team.
