“Terrible game plan” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have had enough of Mauricio Pochettino, and they have blamed him for the defeat to Newcastle United.
Spurs were beaten 1-0 at home to the Toon – who had lost both of their first two games, but despite having 80% possession Spurs could not break down Newcastle, and they took all three points thanks to Joelinton’s first goal for the club.
Strangely Pochettino did not start Christian Eriksen or Jan Vertonghen, and when Eriksen came on, he did not have enough time to influence the game.
Newcastle were largely comfortable for most of the match and many Spurs fans think that losing to the Toon is unacceptable.

…adapt and grow. He is slowly starting to lose my trust as the manager, but I’m not on the Poch out train…yet.

Same old Poch. Useless in front of the camera/microphone. Nothing new learned.

Am sorry but I don’t believe you anymore! Been awful last 15 league games! 15pts out of 15 games (relegation results)

These Tottenham fans are sick of listening to Pochettino’s excuses, and they seem to be losing faith in their manager.
You got it wrong Poch, swallow that ego and accept that this is on you and your self righteous decisions about key players

All he has to say is he didn’t choose the starters correctly…

Woeful performance, Lamela should never had started, Jan should have started and Poch needs to admit he gets it wrong and change it at half time

Blah Blah Blah. Terrible game plan, with the wrong players to try and carry it out. No excuse to lose straight up to Newcastle in your own pitch.

Take responsibility… both team selection and tactics were awful

Other Spurs fans are fuming at Pochettino’s tactical decisions, and they just want him to admit that he got it wrong on this occasion.
