“Gonna be sad to see the beast go” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are reacting to the transfer rumours about Victor Wanyama.
If reports are to be believed the Kenyan international is set to end his three-year spell with Spurs and join Club Brugge for around £11m – the same amount that Tottenham paid Southampton for him.
Wanyama’s Spurs career started brilliantly, and he formed a formidable partnership with Mousa Dembele but a serious knee injury in the 2017/18 season has stunted his progress ever since
He now finds himself well down the pecking order, and a move to Brugge will be good for all parties.
These Tottenham fans wish nothing but the best for Wanyama.

Victor Wanyama is now very close to signing for Club Brugge after the club agreed an initial fee with #thfc worth €10M. Club Brugge will pay a further €5M in bonuses for the midfielder should they qualify for the @ChampionsLeague. [Soccer Link]

Its a shame for Wanyama as when fully fit he is as good as anyone out there. Hope the move works for him.

A lot of Spurs supporters are sad to see the 28-year-old leave – as they remember just how good he was when he first arrived.
Good deal for all involved best of luck Victor

He was like Sandro, injuries killed him.
Had a great season when he joined— Harry C (@HazSpur92) August 21, 2019
Other Tottenham fans recognise that injuries killed his time with their club, and they hope he can have a good career.
