“One of our own” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to Kyle Walker-Peters’ interview with the club.
The 22-year-old was speaking about the first game of the season against Aston Villa – and in particular, his emotional reaction to Harry Kane’s late goal to put the home side 2-1 up.
As jubilant teammates mobbed Kane, Walker-Peters slumped to the floor in pure relief.
Villa had frustrated Spurs all afternoon and when they finally broke through the lifelong Tottenham fan could not contain his emotion.
The England-Under 21 international has a chance to make the right-back spot his own with Juan Foyth injured and Serge Aurier lacking match fitness.
Walker-Peters admitted that every single appearance he makes means the world to him and he just hopes to keep Mauricio Pochettino’s favour.
Many Spurs fans love Walker-Peters and they are pleased he is now in the first-team side.

These Spurs fans love their right-back because he is a Tottenham man through and through and they enjoy seeing one of their own perform well.
He only needed game time and now he is proving he is ready to start for us ????
