“He is certainly going to be a player” – A lot of Gers supporters are thrilled to see Filip Helander get more first-team minutes under his belt.
The big Swede made his league debut for the Gers and was impressive – as Steven Gerrard’s side won 1-0 at St Mirren.
The addition of Helander now gives Gerrard serious depth at centre-back and also competition for a starting spot.
The 26-year-old was booked late on in the game but other than that he was strong and imposing throughout.
Certainly, a lot of Ger fans are impressed by what they are seeing from the former Malmo man.

I don’t think he will play in the next 2 games. Think was important to get him game time today though. Hopefully he will play for Sweden for extra minutes during the international break. He certainly going to be a player.

These Rangers fans are enjoying the performances of Helander and are expecting to see much more from him in the weeks to come.
His booking the day was ridiculous. Not even a foul

Got 3 unjust decisions against him

To have 4 quality centre backs is absolutely unreal ????????

Other Gers supporters are just pleased that Rangers now have some quality centre-backs. They also believe Helander was treated harshly by the referee.
Too early to say I’m a big fan guy needs another 10 games or so then I’ll judge on him. He’s barely played…

He’s not a big fan. That’s a defiance tweet. He’s saying that because a lot of Rangers fans are unsure of him still. So he thinks if he tweets that then a lot of people will be influenced. In reality your right tho, to early, had a couple of wobbles but not really tested yet

Finally, some Rangers supporters think it is to early to judge Helander.
