“His injuries prevented him from showing what he is capable of” – A lot of Gers fans are disappointed that Graham Dorrans has had his contract mutually terminated.
The former West Bromwich Albion midfielder arrived at Ibrox two years ago, but injuries limited him to just 23 appearances in that time.
Steven Gerrard’s side also have healthy competition in the centre of midfield, and the decision was taken to let Dorrans try to find a new club.
Unfortunately for Dorrans his time at Ibrox just never quite worked out, and a lot of Rangers fans are disappointed at how things went for the 32-year-old.
See the best of the reaction below.
#RangersFC can today confirm the mutual termination of midfielder Graham Dorrans’ contract.
He departs with the best wishes of everyone at Rangers.

Sad to see him go as a guy but never kept fit enough to play

All the best to Graham, gutted it didn’t work out for him.

Disappointed. I was extremely pleased when Dorrans joined but ultimately his injuries prevented him showing what he was capable of. He goes with my best wishes and luck for his future endeavors ????⚪????

Real shame for Graham. A first class player and a first class bloke, sadly hampered by injuries at the wrong time in his career. Once a bear always a bear Graham ????

I was excited with the signing of Dorrans but unfortunately those who questioned his fitness were right. A cracking player on his day, an honest pro and true Rangers man. I wish him well and hope that he can sign for another club and play the game we all love. All the best Dozza.

Many Gers supporters are sad for Dorrans, and they wish he had avoided injuries so that he could have played regularly.
I can confirm I’ve worn my finger to the bone refreshing this page waiting for #AnnounceKent

Other Rangers fans were irritated that the announcement was not Ryan Kent, though, late on last night Kent was confirmed as a Rangers player.
