Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter have been discussing their team’s chances against Leeds United before the two sides meet next weekend.
Both teams had contrasting starts to the season as Forest were beaten 2-1 at home, while Leeds convincingly defeated Bristol City in a 3-1 win.
The Yorkshire club looked brilliant in victory as well. The comfortably dominated the ball at Ashton Gate as they had 59% of the possession.
For the Reds, it was a tale of two mistakes as Arijanet Muric was at fault for both of the Baggies’ goals.
Some of the fanbase were quite clearly unhappy with how the team played though, and despite only losing 2-1 to a strong team, many were quick to write off their chances against Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Can’t see us getting a result next weekend against Leeds… ???? #NFFC

One fan was a bit more optimistic about their chances though. Forest have had a knack of snatching surprising wins against top sides as over the past two seasons they have beaten Leeds 4-2, and the season prior defeated Wolves 2-0 while they were flying high at the top of the league.
Forest will go out and sneak a 1-0 win when nobody expects it???????????????? That’s the Forest way lol

Other supporters were on the fence about what will happen in this game, stating that the match could come down to whose goalkeeper is the best on the day, and if Costel Pantilimon starts for the Reds.
We’ll just have to hope Casilla gifts us at least 3 goals, and he’s more than capable of doing that ????
