Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter have been reacting to their final signing of the summer after he club announced the arrival of John Bostock on loan from Toulouse.

This will be the first time Bostock has played in England since he left Tottenham back in 2013.

The midfielder was once touted as the next big thing in English football after making his debut at the age of 15 for Crystal Palace.

It wasn’t long before he was picked up by a Premier League side as Spurs swooped for the young star.

For one reason or another, his career in England didn’t pan out as expected. He spent a few years abroad playing for the likes of Toronto FC, Royal Antwerp, Lens and Toulouse.

He seems to have found his feet again recently though as he won Ligue 2 Player of the Season a couple of years ago.

Many Forest fans see the potential in Bostock and they are quite happy with his arrival at the City Ground.

However, despite many seeing this as a promising signing some supporters still had concerns about the size of the squad.

Forest now have 39 senior players including a large number of central midfielders.

One fan sarcastically responded saying that Forest were short in Bostock’s position, when in reality they are spoilt for choice in that role.
