Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter have been relishing the fact that Ben Osborn hasn’t been given much of a chance at Sheffield United after he swapped the City Ground for Bramall Lane.
This started when a fan asked how Osborn was getting on at his new club.
The Blades have now played two matches in the top flight, but the former Forest man hasn’t featured at all.
He was a solid performer last season as he assisted six goals in 39 appearances while appearing both in midfield and in defence.
The Reds pocketed a nice £5m windfall when they sold the 25-year-old.
Osborn is a product of the Forest academy, and despite making 230 appearances for the East Midlands outfit, a number of supporters were quite happy to see his Blades career faltering.
It remains to be seen whether or not Osborn will have an impact for Chris Wilder’s side this season, but for now, several Forest fans are more than happy to mock their former man for warming the bench.
He’s really enjoying it. He’s got a lot more time and energy to spend on his hobbies! ????

One supporter had a sarcastic response to the question. Jokingly stating that he thought every manager rated him and that he was going to start every game.
But I thought every manager going rates him and they all start him every game?

Another fan actually claimed that the Reds are better off without the 25-year-old.
Funny isn’t it that we’ve now got a more positive midfield, going forward and fighting for the ball. MMMMMMM I wonder why that is……..m

One fan was on the other side of the fence. He didn’t like the bitterness being shown towards the former Forest man, and he claimed that they were better with him in the side by providing a humorous analogy.
State of you lot, making out it’s #nffc that’s better off now Osborn has moved on, to the Premier League.
Reminds me of when my Mrs left me for Brad Pitt and I made out Plastic Polly was better conversation anyway ????????????
Good luck to Benny, he’ll get his chance and do us proud.
