Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter have been reacting to the news that Adlene Guedioura has finally departed the club for Qatari outfit Al Gharafa.
It was known last week that the Algerian was undergoing a medical with Slavisa Jokanovic’s outfit, but the official transfer wasn’t announced until Sunday evening.
This move sees the midfielder link up with his former manager as he worked with Jokanovic at Watford.
Fans weren’t wishing him well when the rumours first circulated about his potential exit, and now that his departure has been confirmed that hasn’t changed.
A number of supporters claimed that they’re glad he’s gone. Guedioura was apparently a bad influence in the dressing room and he also reportedly had a huge falling out with former boss Martin O’Neill.
One fan said good riddance, while another pointed out that the club hadn’t wished him well.

No ‘wish him well’ tells you all you need to know. So glad he’s gone don’t need bad apples. Good riddance. ????

Although the club didn’t offer him their best regards in their press release announcing his departure, a number of fans wanted to wish him luck at his next club.
Good luck Gueds, was never going to get a look in for us this season. Not sure why he’s getting all this hated when overall he’s been a good servant and gave us some great memories.

Poor PR by the club for not wishing him well… he has been a good player for us in both his spells. #nffc
