Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter have been expressing concern over Joe Lolley’s form after he was largely ineffective during their game against Leeds United on Saturday.

The winger was arguably Forest’s most important player last term as he reached double figures in terms of both goals and assists.

However, he is yet to contribute to a goal in the 2019/20 campaign.

Of course, we are only two games into the new season, but the standards that Lolley has set over the past 12 months has got a number of fans concerned about his form.

It’s not just that he hasn’t provided any goals or assists yet. He hasn’t really threatened to make anything happen either.

He had just one shot at the weekend which wasn’t on target, and he also failed to make a single key pass.

This type of performance has worried a few members of the fanbase.

One supporter boldly stated that Lolley could be dropped in the upcoming weeks as Joao Carvalho returns from injury.

Others speculated that Lolley’s poor form could be down to being injured.
