Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter are buzzing after the club posted a video on social media showing Joao Carvalho returning to training.
The Portuguese attacking midfielder missed the opening day of the season due to an ankle injury he picked up in a pre-season friendly against Alfreton.
Fortunately for the Reds, it looks like he will be back sooner rather than later as he has seemingly resumed first-team training.
The youngster arrived at the City Ground last year for a club-record fee of £13.2m, and he has looked exceptional since his arrival.
Last term he scored four times, but his eight assists to go alongside that made him one of the most productive players in the Forest squad over the past 12 months.
Due to the form he showed last season a number of Reds supporters can’t wait to see him get back onto the pitch.
Cant wait til hes back fit. Crucial to us.

Predictably, some of the City Ground faithful couldn’t resist the chance to have a dig at Derby County.
Supporters took the bold move of comparing their Portuguese star to Derby’s latest signing Wayne Rooney.
If you think about it Rooney is just a btec João #nffc
