According to the Express and Star, new West Bromwich Albion manager Slaven Bilic has urged the higher-ups at the club to get moving in this summers transfer window.
This summer, The Baggies have released five players, seen six players return to their parent clubs and sold Jay Rodriguez and Craig Dawson for a combined fee of £16m. Bilic is growing concerned over the size of his playing squad as the Championship season starts in three weeks time.
With all of the exits, it sees the club have one senior centre forward in Hal Robson-Kanu.
This has lead to many of the Hawthorns faithful venting their anger towards the incompetence of the board and a few Albion fans are glad that Bilic isn’t messing around when it comes to standing up to the board.
The only incoming at West Brom this summer has been the loan signing of Croatian attacking midfielder Filip Krovinovic from Benfica in Portugal.
Here is the best of the reaction.

Dear Slav.
Welcome to the World of your Employers. The World we, as fans, have suffered for 3 years.
Kind Regards

Welcome to #wba Slav. At least you’re finding out early on what a fraud Jenkins and Dowling are.

Concerning that the board is fully in charge of transfers, don’t think anybody can say they trust them at all

Credit to him for coming out and saying this. The commercial incompetence of our ‘negotiating team’ has effectively wrecked our team balance and preparations for the past 3 seasons. The culture seems to be to avoid paying over the odds by not buying anyone. Failed philosophy.

His words a repeat of what we used to hear from Megson, Robson, Mowbray, Pulis… We are always sluggish in the transfer market.

Absolutely no surprise. The stuff going on with the academy proves that in Dowling we have another McDonough in our midst. Worrying times indeed.

I’ve been wondering how long it would take Slav to say something. Jenkins and Dowling have been sleep walking through the transfer window. Interesting times ahead now #WBA
