Despite the fact that he is the man in the spotlight after his winning goal against Brentford on Wednesday, Eddie Nketiah has been paying tribute to one of his teammates on Instagram.
The striker scored his first league goal for Leeds United just four minutes after being subbed on for his debut.
This was the Arsenal loanee’s second goal for the Yorkshire club after netting in the Carabao Cup against Salford City.
He was assisted by Helder Costa on both occasions, and the striker was clearly very grateful for the service he has been getting from the Portuguese winger.
Nketiah gave his teammate a new nickname with his caption ‘Chef Helder’. Presumably, he’s christened him with that nickname due to the fact he’s continuously been serving him chances.
The pair both arrived this summer, and while neither has made a league start yet they’ve made serious impacts with their goals and assists.
Leeds have ascended to the top of the Championship table with their win on Wednesday after winning three of their opening four games.
