Yesterday morning Arsenal released their new home kit for next season in collaboration with Adidas, and it generated a lot of hype among many Arsenal fans. But some Arsenal fans argued that the kit launch should be boycotted due to the lack of owner investment from Stan Kroenke. Some Arsenal fans called for the boycott to encourage the American owner to sell the club to someone who wants to invest in the future of the club and help the Gunners challenge for the title.

Everyone celebrating this kit like it’s a marquee signing arriving. Irony of it is people complain they don’t give us money to spend then they go line kroenkes pockets. It shows the sad state of the club if a kit launch is the highlight of our summer so far.

Anybody that stands in line for hours today to get the new kit is part of the problem. If we keep enabling these people, they will keep taking us for fools. #BoycottNewArsenalKit

Some Arsenal fans even took to protesting outside of the Emirates Stadium on the morning of the kit launch, standing outside The Armoury shop holding signs and chanting against the owner. The only problem with the protests is that a majority of the protestors were wearing the new home kit. Irony.
